Career Champions Advocates
A total of 48 participants successfully completed the School-Based Training of Career Advocates held from August 18 to 22, 2025. The intensive week-long training equipped educators and guidance personnel with essential knowledge and tools to support students in their career development journey. Through lectures, workshops, and practical assessments, participants enhanced their understanding of labor market trends, career guidance frameworks, and student-centered approaches. All 48 attendees passed the final assessment and are now certified Career Advocates, ready to guide students in making informed and meaningful decisions about their education and future careers.
The training was closely monitored and supported by Maria Cristina G. Baroso, PDO-IV of EESD, and Paraluman M. Terragoza, EPS of HRDD, who served as Regional Monitors. Their active involvement ensured the program’s alignment with regional standards and its overall effectiveness. They provided valuable insights and feedback throughout the sessions, reinforcing the region’s commitment to strengthening career guidance initiatives in schools and empowering educators to become catalysts for student success.
